The Heritage House to Host Discussion on Addiction Recovery on April 28

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Heritage House will host a town hall meeting to discuss ‘The Anonymous People’ on Thursday, April 28.

The event begins at 6:00 p.m.

“The Anonymous People” is a feature documentary film about the 23 million people living in long-term recovery from alcohol and other addictions.

They live next door. They work in the cubicles around us. They are leaders in our communities. Every day, people achieve recovery from substance abuse. For too long, the stigma of addiction has kept them silent. Gather for a free showing of this powerful message, followed by an open discussion on strategies and solutions for Jefferson County.

Stay for a panel discussion following the movie. Discuss topics such as underage drinking, over-medicated seniors, protecting and proper disposal of prescription drugs, heroin, and addiction and recovery.

The Heritage House is located at 4 Sylvania Street in Brookville, Pa.
