Police Arrest Two Suspects in Prescription Drug Theft

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Two people are facing charges for allegedly stealing prescription drugs from a residence in the Brookville area.

According to Brookville Police, the theft occurred sometime between December 31 and January 1 at a residence on Western Avenue in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police say it is alleged that 26-year-old Todd A. Bell of Reynoldsville and 26-year-old Kayla R. Wells of DuBois were guests at the residence and during their visit they allegedly removed a quantity of prescription drugs which included morphine and alprazolam having an approximate value of $100.00.

Bell and Wells are being charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy, and possession of controlled substance.

Brookville Police Department were assisted in the investigation by the Jefferson County Adult Probation Department and the Reynoldsville Boro Police Department.
