Two Arrested on Terroristic Threats, Assault Charges in Huston Township

handcuffsHUSTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say around 1:10 p.m. on April 22, an incident of terrorist threats and assault occurred at 297 Hoovertown Road, in Huston Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, a known, 63-year-old Penfield man entered into a verbal altercation with his 23-year-old daughter, of DuBois.

Police say “the accused threw and hit the victim with a pack of cigarettes.”

The accused then entered into a verbal altercation with his wife, a 59-year-old Penfield woman, and physically assaulted her, according to police.

A 26-year-old DuBois man then physically assaulted the 63-year-old, police say.

The 63-year-old man “eventually retrieved a knife and threatened death and serious bodily injury upon (the 26-year-old),” according to police.

Both men were taken into custody and lodged in the Clearfield County Jail.

The names of the suspects were not released.
