Two Jailed in Sigel Meth Lab Bust

SIGEL, Pa. (EYT) — Charges were filed against two men after a suspected meth lab was discovered in the Sigel area on Thursday.

The Jefferson County Drug Task Force discovered the ‘one-pot’ meth lab around 1 p.m. at a home located at 6656 Route 36 in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

The Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Lab Response Team arrived a short time later and secured the scene.

31-year-old Keith M. Carrier, of Sigel, and 29-year-old Daniel M. Clark, of Somerset, were taken into custody, according to a press release issued by Jefferson County District Attorney Jeffrey Burkett.

They face numerous felony charges related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, Jefferson County Probation, Sigel VFD, and Jefferson County EMS also assisted at the scene.
