Two Jefferson County Men Face Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

BIG RUN BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Two Jefferson County men are facing drug possession charges following a traffic stop in Big Run Borough.

Alvin William Rosenberger, 20, and Dennis Paul Cochran, 19, both of Punxsutawney, were charged April 9 with one count each of Marijuana-Small Amount Personal Use and Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.

The charges, filed at Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office, stem from a March 17 traffic stop on Big Run Road.

The vehicle was pulled over after police observed multiple summary traffic violations.

Upon further investigation, it was determined Rosenberger and Cochran were allegedly found to be in the possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Both men are awaiting preliminary hearings.
