Two Reynoldsville Teens Face Aggravated Assault Charges After Allegedly Striking Three DuBois Individuals

crime-newsUNION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – The State Police at DuBois investigated the report of an altercation that occurred on Heller Lane, in Union Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, around 3:30 a.m. on January 1, 19-year-old Dylan Michael Tapper and 18-year-old Darren Mark Foradori, both of Reynoldsville, allegedly assaulted a known, 40-year-old DuBois man with an unknown blunt object, then kicked and struck him.

Tapper and Foradori then allegedly pushed and struck a known, 43-year DuBois woman and a known, 52-year-old DuBois woman, police say.

Arrest warrants were issued for Tapper and Foradori who were subsequently taken into custody without incident, according to police.

Both teens were arraigned at 4:45 p.m. on January 1 in front of Magisterial District Judge Patrick N. Ford.

They face the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault, Felony 1 (two counts)
  • Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2 (three counts)
  • Criminal Mischief – Damage Property, Misdemeanor 2
  • Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary (three counts)
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Misdemeanor 2

Unable to post $50,000.00 monetary bail each, both teens were lodged in the Clearfield County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on January 8 with Judge Ford presiding.
