Two Teens Injured in Winslow Township Rollover

policeWINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police have released details on March 20 accident that left two local teenager injured.

DuBois-based State Police say the accident happened around 9:15 a.m. on Yohe Road, just west of Reynoldsville-Sykesville Road.

According to police, 19-year-old Dominic M. Cole, of Reynoldsville, was traveling eastbound and lost control of his vehicle while attempting to negotiate a sharp left turn.

Cole’s 2007 Saab 9-7x slid counter-clockwise before sliding off the roadway and colliding with an embankment.

The vehicle then rolled over once before coming to a final rest on its wheels.

Cole suffered minor injuries in the accident, according to police.

A passenger in the vehicle – 19-year-old Kierra L. Rittenhouse of DuBois – suffered injuries of unknown severity.

Both occupants were transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.

Cole was cited for failing to drive at a safe speed.

Sykesville Volunteer Fire Department, Sykesville Ambulance, DuBois EMS, and Jewell’s Towing assisted at the scene.
