Two-Vehicle Collision in Brady Township

BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, a two-vehicle crash occurred March 7 around 7:03 p.m. on State Route 410, in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

Police say the crash involved 30-year-old Mary F. Frantz, of DuBois, and a 17-year-old male driver, of Rockton.

Both drivers were traveling on SR 410 in the eastbound lane at the time of the collision.

Police say the 17-year-old male driver applied the brakes to his 2001 Chevrolet Silverado for a deer that was on the side of the road.

According to police, Frantz was following too closely and failed to slow down in time.

Her 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe struck the rear end of the Silverado.

Frantz’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

The Chevrolet Silverado sustained damage to the rear end but was able to be driven from the scene.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and escaped injury.

Frantz was cited with a traffic violation.
