Two-Vehicle Collision on Route 210, North Mahoning Twp.

State PoliceNORTH MAHONING TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 3:50 p.m. on August 20, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 210, west of Township Road 644, in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County.

Police say a 1996 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was traveling south on Route 210, going uphill on the roadway and came into contact with the rear of an unidentified vehicle.

The Chevrolet traveled off the west edge of the roadway and came to a final rest, according to police.

The unidentified vehicle also came to a final rest off the west side of the road, police say.

The driver of the Chevrolet was using his seat belt and was not injured, according to police.

The operator of the unidentified vehicle suffered minor injuries, police say.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damages.

Jefferson County EMS and Perry Township Fire Department assisted at the scene, according to police.

Charges against the driver of the Chevrolet are pending, police say.

The names of the individuals involved were not released.
