BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say around 3:21 p.m. on December 31, a two-vehicle accident occurred at the Giant Eagle parking lot, on South White Street, in Brookville, Jefferson County.
According to police, Robert S. Nichols, of Brookville, and Deborah A. Cook, of Cooksburg, were involved in the collision.
It was determined that both parties were backing out of parking spots. Cook’s vehicle was stopped partially in the spot to allow her husband to enter the vehicle, according to police.
As she was waiting for him to get in, her vehicle was struck by Nichols who was backing out of a spot behind her, police say.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage to the rear of the vehicles.
Neither party was charged.
The incident was cleared at 4:00 p.m.
