Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 119

HENDERSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 11:39 a.m. on July 14, on State Route 119, in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, Kathryn J. Johnson, 73, of Big Run and Boyd W. Wacob, 60, of Reynoldsville were involved in the crash.

Police say the collision occurred when Johnson was pulling out of the parking lot at Biggies Meats in her 2010 Ford Focus as Wacob was traveling south on SR 119 in a 1991 International Harvester.

Johnson entered the roadway directly into the path of Wacob, according to police.

Wacob struck Johnson’s vehicle in the southbound lane of SR 119.

No injuries were reported and both operators were wearing seat belts, according to police.

Johnson was cited with a traffic violation.
