Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 322, Two Injured

Police car lightsWINSLOW TOWNSHIP, Pa.(EYT) – Dubois-based State Police say around 4:00 p.m. on January 7, a two vehicle accident occurred on State Route 322, in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Police say Zachary K. Adamson, 21 of Reynoldsville, was traveling westbound on SR 322 in a 2004 Mercury Sable, and for unknown reasons, left the roadway and crashed into a guiderail, then crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass operated by Logan B. Groff, 20, of Reynoldsville.

Adamson was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered injuries of unknown severity.

Groff was wearing a seat belt; he also suffered injuries of unknown severity.

Both drivers required EMS transport from the scene and were taken to the Penn Highlands Medical facility.

Adamsom was charged with a traffic violation.

Reynoldsville VFD, Reynoldsville EMS, Sykesville EMS, and Dusan EMS assisted at the scene..
