Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 36, Rose Township

Blue flashing sirens of police car during the roadblock in the cROSE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 8:42 p.m. on November 27, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 36, at its intersection with Alaska Road, in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 19-year-old Mia M. Custer, of Confluence, and 73-year-old Frederick C. Wellington, of Natrona Heights, were involved in the collision.

This crash occurred as a 2001 Kia Rio, driven by Custer, was traveling south on Route 36 and began turning left onto Alaska Road, according to police.

A 2015 Ford F-150, driven by Wellington, was traveling north on Route 36 and impacted the Kia, police say.

Custer was not injured.

Wellington suffered minor injuries.

Both drivers were using seat belts.

Custer was charged with a traffic violation.
