Two-Vehicle Crash on State Route 36

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225OLIVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 7:16 a.m. on September 8, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 36 and State Route 3011 (Hamilton-Markton Road), in Oliver Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 79-year-old Raymond Hilliard, of Coolspring, and 45-year-old Marcia L. Barr, of Brookville, were involved in the collision.

Police say Hilliard was entering SR 36 from Hamilton-Markton Road and Barr was traveling south on SR 36.

Barr’s 2003 Hyundai Elantra struck Hilliard’s 2005 Buick Lacrosse in the southbound lane of travel.

The Hyundai traveled approximately 105 feet from impact to a final rest facing south.

The Buick came to a controlled final rest also facing south.

Both drivers were using seat belts and were not injured.

Oliver Township EMS assisted at the scene.
