Two Women Charged with 30 Felony Counts Each in Falls Creek Burglary

crime-newsWASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Two women have been charged in a burglary that occurred at a residence along Kyle Run Road, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, the incident occurred sometime between July 16 and August 14.

Police say the incident was “a continuous course of conduct” in which Nicole Elisha Shute, 33, of Falls Creek, allegedly removed an automatic garage door opener from a vehicle and then utilized it several times to enter a residence and remove currency and prescription medication.

Subsequent investigations allegedly determined that Larissa Marie Boggs, 21, of Reynoldsville, conspired with Shute throughout this time, according to police.

The victim is a 51-year-old Falls Creek man, police say.

According to online court documents Shute and Boggs face 30 felony charges each.

They were arraigned at 9:50 a.m. on October 5 in front of Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana.

Court documents state Shute faces the following charges:

  • 10 counts of Burglary – Overnight Accommodation, No Person Present, Felony 1
  • 10 counts Theft By Unlaw Taking-Movable Property, Felony 3
  • 10 counts of Receiving Stolen Property, Felony 3

Court documents indicate Boggs faces the following charges:

  • 10 counts of Conspiracy – Burglary – Overnight Accommodation, Person Present, Felony 1
  • 10 counts of Conspiracy – Theft By Unlaw Taking-Movable Property, Felony 3
  • 10 counts of Conspiracy – Receiving Stolen Property, Felony 3

Bail was set at $25,000.00 unsecured for each suspect.

Both suspects are awaiting preliminary hearings.
