The Flemings, who attended most of the productions held at The Verna Leith Theatre, were often joined by their friends for evening dinners at local Cook Forest restaurants followed by productions at the Cooksburg theatre.

The memorial seats were purchased by dear friends of Mrs. and Mrs. Fleming: Paula and Lew Weingard; Nancy and Bill Wallace; Carole and Darr Briggs; and Judy and Ron McKenna.

The Flemings’ daughter, Jennifer Hitchcock and her husband, Mark, were also in attendance.

The Sawmill Center for the Arts offers patrons the opportunity to “name” seats at the Verna Leith Theatre in memory of or in honor of cherished individuals for a gift $250.00. For additional information contact Sawmill Center for the Arts at 814-927-5275.
