Police say 37-year-old Mamourou Kamissoko, of Harrisburg, was traveling west on I-80 in a 2010 International Harvester Pro Star, and a drive tire on the truck blew out, causing a fire to begin.

Kamissoko stopped the vehicle on the berm and disconnected the trailer, according to police.

The truck then became fully engulfed in fire, police say.

The fire was extinguished by Clarion Fire and Hose Co. No. 1.

Kamissoko was not injured.

The accident shut down I-80 for nearly three hours, and traffic was diverted to Route 322 through Clarion.

The roadway re-opened around 2:45 a.m., according to Randy Bauer of Bauer Truck Repair.

Bauer Truck Repair and Clarion Hospital EMS also assisted at the scene.
