COLUMBIA CO., Pa. (EYT) – According to Bloomsburg-based State Police, a two-year-old girl has been found safe after an Amber Alert was issued on Sunday night.
Police say just hours after the alert was issued, Alexis Weber was found in a wooded area behind her Berwick, Pa. home.
She was inside a 2005 yellow Ford Mustang convertible when she went missing.
Following an investigation, troopers learned that when Alexis’ mother got home, she did not put the car in park – with Alexis in it. The car rolled forward, then over a parking curb, down a hill, and into a wooded field.
The toddler is okay, according to police.
