UPDATE: Name Released in Brookville Drive-By Shooting

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Police have released the name of the shooter who allegedly discharged a firearm into a garage early Wednesday morning on South Pickering Street, in Brookville.

Police say they were called to South Pickering Street around midnight on August 20 after receiving reports of gunshots being fired into a garage.

Through the course of an investigation, it was determined that 48-year-old Todd Anthony Parker of Dayton, was allegedly drinking alcoholic beverages at a local establishment and became upset about his employer of several years ago, according to police.

Police say that Parker allegedly drove by and shot nine times into a garage with a 9mm pistol, causing over $5000.00 in damages.

Parker was arraigned by District Judge Chambers.

According to court documents, he is charged with the following offenses:

– Reckless Endangerment – Misdemeanor 2
– Criminal Mischief/Damage Property Intent, Reckless, or Negligent – Felony 3
– Possession of Weapon – Misdemeanor 1
– Possession of Firearm Prohibited – Felony 2
– Firearms not to be Carried without a License – Felony 3
– Carrying a Loaded Weapon -Summary
– Possess Firearm with an Altered Manufacturers Number – Misdemeanor 2

Unable to post $75,000.00 bail, he was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on September 4 in front of District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak.
