UPDATE: Police Identify Man in Suspicious Person Case in Punxsy

suspiciousYOUNG TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police have identified the man in connection with an incident that occurred on November 23 at Pasquale’s Restaurant located along Route 119 in Young Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 4:20 p.m. on November 23, a white male (pictured above) entered Pasquale’s Restaurant and related that he worked for “the police.”

He asked for a woman by name who did not work at the restaurant and was able to retrieve information on current employees, police say.

Police say the known man has been found to be legitimately affiliated with the local police department and is working on a drug awareness program with them.

State Police remind the public to continue to be cautious of anyone trying to obtain personal information.
