UPDATE: Route 66 Re-Opens Following Truck vs. Car Crash

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225CLARION CO., Pa. – Route 66 is now open in both directions between Route 28 in New Bethlehem Borough and Olean Trail Road in Limestone Township after being closed due to a truck versus car collision.

The accident occurred approximately five miles north of New Bethlehem.

“Preliminary reports indicate that a chipper truck was doing tree removal work along the road and collided with a car,” said Rick Atzeni of Bauer Truck Repair.

Crews remain on the scene as of 10:45 a.m.

There is no word on injuries.
