CLARION, Pa. – A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect for Clarion County and surrounding areas.

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh issued the following Urgent Winter Weather Message at 12:53 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2014:

* WINDS…NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES…FALLING INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WIND WILL PRODUCE LOW WIND CHILL INDICES. THIS COULD RESULT IN FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS…MAKE SURE YOU DRESS PROPERLY.
