V. Dolores (Dalessio) Perry

V Dolores PerryV. Dolores (Dalessio) Perry, 90, Indiana, (formerly of Plumville), passed away Wednesday, March 01, 2017, while at the Crystal Waters Personal Care Home.

The daughter of Samuel and Serafina (Mazza) Dalessio, she was born October 24, 1926 in Sagamore, PA.

Dolores was a graduate of Sagamore High School. She was a former member of the Sagamore Sacred Heart Church and current member of the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church.

During her younger years, she moved to Ohio and was employed by General Motors.

Everyone remembers Dolores as a woman who had an outgoing personality who enjoyed meeting people and striking up a conversation.

Dolores loved all her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews just like they were her own children.

Surviving are her siblings, Nick (Jean) Dalessio, Indiana, Sam Dalessio, Plumville, Frank Dalessio, Willoughby, OH, Gloria Bernakis, also of Willoughby, OH, Rose Zbasnick, Painsville, OH, and Joan (John) Bojec, Highland Heights, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews.

Preceding Dolores in death were her parents; husband, Samuel E. Perry in August of 1995; brothers, Thomas, Joseph, and Frank; sisters, Annabelle Dalessio, Lena Rocco, Caroline Trostle, and Sara Lou Steve. . .

Friends will be received on Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11a.m. Saturday morning in the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church with Father Thomas Federline as celebrant.

Interment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery.
