YOUNG TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a one-vehicle crash occurred late Saturday night on State Route 119 in Young Township.
According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 10:31 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 36-year-old Tara L. Campbell, of Punxsutawney, was operating a 2009 Kia Borrego, on Route 119, just west of Hilldene Lane in Young Township, Jefferson County.
Police say Campbell’s vehicle traveled off the east side of the roadway near Yates Road and crashed into an embankment, causing the side airbags to deploy.
Campbell was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by South Side Towing.
Campbell was cited for a traffic violation.
