Vehicle Slams Into Embankment on Reynoldsville Falls Creek Road

WINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A vehicle slammed into an embankment along Reynoldsville Falls Creek Road on Sunday morning.

According to DuBois-based State Police, the accident happened around 10:34 a.m. on Sunday, January 9, on State Route 950/Reynoldsville Falls Creek Road, just north of its intersection with Stevenson Hill Road, in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 50-year-old Melissa A. Stotish, of Brockway, was operating a 2018 Toyota CHR traveling southbound on Reynoldsville Falls Creek Road when she lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway.

The vehicle crossed over the northbound lane and struck an embankment head-on. It came to a final rest facing south along the northbound lane.

Stotish was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Mottman’s Towing.
