Vehicle Slams into Utility Pole Off Route 210

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225NORTH MAHONING TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred yesterday on State Route 210, west of Township Road 644, in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County.

According to police, 36-year-old 53-year-old Thomas G. Kerr, of Smicksburg, was traveling south on Route 210 in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. Kerr tried to avoid a deer on the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Kerr and his passenger – 36-year-old Cheryl L. Shank, of Smicksburg – were using seat belts and were not injured.
