WINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police responded to a two-vehicle collision in Winslow Township on Wednesday afternoon.
According to DuBois-based State Police, the crash happened on Rathmel Boulevard in Winslow Township, Jefferson County, around 4:32 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15.
Police say was a 2019 Toyota Highlander traveling north while a 2016 Dodge Caravan was traveling south on Rathmel Blvd.
The Toyota was approaching a crest of a hill in the roadway when a vehicle was backing into its driveway on the east side of the roadway. The operator drove the Toyota around said vehicle into the left lane and made contact with the driver’s side of the Dodge, sideswiping each other.
Responding troopers observed damage to the Toyota’s driver side front bumper, quarter panel, side mirror, front and rear doors, rear quarter panel, and rear driver side tire.
Damage was also observed to the driver side front quarter panel front door and side mirror of the Dodge.
Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
The drivers’ names and possible injuries were not released.
According to police, the operator of the Toyota was issued a traffic warning.
