Vicki L. Cochran

Vicki L. Cochran, 68, of Punxsutawney, (Foxburg), passed away on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at Penn Highlands, DuBois.

She was born November 17, 1953 to Joseph and Della (Berringer) London in Punxsutawney.

Vicki worked at Rolo Jensen, and then attended Vale Technical Institute in Blairsville, where she graduated valedictorian.

After graduating, she started as the office manager at Lakelawn Cemetery where she retired in 2014.

She was not good at bowling but loved her “pooper scooper” trophy, which she won yearly from the Jensen reunion.

Vicki enjoyed scratch-off lottery tickets, and mowing grass with her husband.

She was the matriarch of the family.

Vicki loved family gatherings and just spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald R. Cochran, Foxburg, two daughters, and a son, Rebecca Elkin, Big Run, Christopher Cochran and Melissa Kennis, Anita, Jodi Glover and husband Dan, NC, adopted daughter Tammy Strawcutter Miles, husband Kurt, Palmerton, PA,

Grandchildren, Wendell Elkin Jr, and Katelyn, Kaycee Elkin, Melia Cochran, Dylan Aul, Jessica Keihl, Michelle Burkett, Ricki Burkett, and several other natural and adopted grandchildren, great grandchildren Harmonee and Huntyr Elkin, Dakota, Jayde and Rylee Keihl, and Everley Aul, two brothers, Michael London and wife Julie, Punxsutawney, Jeffrey London and wife Cathy, OH, a sister-in-law Bernadette London, Grampian, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Donald Cochran Jr., a daughter Connie Cochran, and a brother Joseph R. London.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767, with Joe Buterbaugh officiating.

Internment will take place at McClure Cemetery, Big Run.
