Vivian G. “Shine” Wallace

Vivian G. “Shine” Wallace, 91, of Rockton, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021, at DuBois Nursing Home.

Mrs. Wallace was born July 26, 1929, in Woodland, the daughter of Howard and Mildred (Michaels) Wisor.

She was a Homemaker.

Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Lake Street United Methodist Church and currently affiliated with the Home Camp United Methodist Church.

Vivian is survived by her husband of 72 years, Richard C. “Diamond” Wallace, whom she married February 11, 1948; her daughter, Cheryl LaBorde and her husband Carl of Rockton; a grandson, Jeffrey LaBorde and his wife Kara; a sister, Bonnie Antonuk and her husband Ed of Woodland; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Norma Wallace, Laquita Carter, Marilyn Tart, and Dixie Ross.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Rev. Richard Hile officiating. Interment will be in Dale Cemetery.
