Walter Tyronne Dixon Jr.

Walter Tyronne Dixon Jr., 45, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He was born in Vineland, New Jersey on May 26, 1975, a son of Walter Tyronne Dixon, Sr. and Robin Elaine (Base) Dixon.

Walt was a 1993 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.

Mr. Dixon was the owner of All Seasons Boat Repair in Punxsutawney. His father started the business and recently retired, but the two still worked together in all aspects of repairing and boat care and storage. Walt enjoyed going for a drive to deliver boats and just spending time with his dad.

Walt spent twenty years of life with his girlfriend, Selena Shepler. They loved and enjoyed one another and made many great memories together.

In addition to Selena; his parents, Walt and Robin; he is survived by one sister, Terry Ann Harmon and husband Chris Craft of Punxsutawney; his paternal grandmother, Lottie Maines of Wallaceton; one niece, Shy Ann Perry; one nephew, William Harmon; great niece, Madilyn Perry; and great nephew, George Perry; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph John Dixon; paternal grandfather, William Dixon; maternal grandparents, Peter and Elizabeth Base.

A private family funeral will be held at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Big Run.

Memorial donations may be made in Walt’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
