Wanda I. Adams

Wanda I. Adams, 65, of Ringgold, died Sunday, December 20, 2020, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born February 10, 1955, in Rossiter, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Fetterman) and Boyd D. Neal. On October 10, 1994, she married Archie W. Adams, who survives.

She was a graduate of the Punxsutawney High School Class of 1974. Wanda loved animals, jewelry, cooking, baking, the beach, and her family and friends.

She previously worked for Ringgold Precision Products doing assembly for around eighteen years but could most recently be found working at Mama Rita’s in Worthville.

In addition to her husband Archie, she is survived by three children, Leslie Monoskey and Joel Uzzo of Murraysville, Amy Adams of Punxsutawney, and Amanda Kurtz and husband Adam of Rossiter; six grandchildren, Logan Geist and fiancé Emma Wingert, Landon Sisk, Kaity and Kellan Cessna, Aiden Kurtz, and Jameson Hill; two brothers, Harry Neal and wife Lana of Punxsutawney and Larry Neal and wife LuAnn of Rochester Mills; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Marlen Pounds and Dorothy “Tootie” Neal, brothers Butch Neal and Don Neal, and an infant baby brother.

There will be no public visitation or services. Services are under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney. Interment will be in Worthville Cemetery, Worthville.
