Wanda K. Himes, 93, a guest at the Jefferson Manor, formerly of Kirkman Rd., Brookville, died Monday, February 9, 2015 at Jefferson Manor.
Born March 21, 1921 in Pinecreek Township, she was the daughter of John T. Kirkman and Claire L. Suffolk Kirkman.
Wanda was married to Merle Himes, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a secretary at Brookville Equipment for over 50 years.
Wanda was a member of the Kirkman Independent Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Saver, of Brookville, and LaByrle Kerner, of Coolspring; and two brothers, Leo Kirkman and Charles Kirkman, both of Brookville.
In addition to her husband, Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Frances Swartz; a half-sister, Madeline Proof; and a half-brother, Theodore Kirkman.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 12 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, Pa.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday with the Rev. Warren Harris officiating.
Interment will be at Butler Cemetery in Pinecreek Township, Jefferson County.
