Wanted Brockway Man Apprehended after Allegedly Attempting to Elude Officers

Police CarDUBOIS, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police report an arrest was made on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 after a wanted suspect allegedly attempted to elude officers in DuBois, Clearfield County.

Police say at 10:50 a.m., they received information that 26-year-old Timothy Ryan Irvine, of Brockway, was doing some construction work at a location on DuBois Street.

Irvine had several arrest warrants issued by multiple law enforcement departments.

Officers from the State Police and the DuBois City Police Department arrived at the scene to execute the arrest warrants. Upon Irvine observing law enforcement officers he allegedly fled on foot and entered the Sandy Lick Creek to try and avoid apprehension.

Multiple officers entered the water after Irvine and executed the arrest.

Irvine was charged in District Court 46-3-01 with the following offenses: Escape, Resisting Arrest, Reckless Endangering Another Person, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Simple Possession.

Irvine was placed in the Clearfield County Prison on $25,000 bail.
