Wanted Woman Arrested After Giving False Name to Brookville PD

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A 47-year-old woman wanted on multiple arrest warrants was apprehended in Brookville.

According to a released issued Tuesday by Officer Gray, of the Brookville Borough Police Department, a traffic stop was made around 8:22 p.m. on July 4 at 300 West Main Street.

A known 47-year-old female who had arrest warrants out of both Clearfield and Jefferson Counties was observed in the Sheetz parking lot in Brookville Borough. Through the course of an investigation, a traffic stop was initiated.

When Officer Gray spoke with the known female, she gave a false name.

She was then taken into custody and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.

The woman’s name is expected to be released soon.
