Warrant Issued for Brockway Sex Offender

T3GYTAX[1]SNYDER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – State Police have charged a Brockway man for allegedly failing to comply with sexual offender registration requirements.

According to online court documents, on November 23, James John Potts, 33, of Brockway, was charged with third-degree felony: Transient – Failure to Verify Address or be Photographed.

Police say he failed to register a new address within three business days after leaving Just For Jesus Ministries in Brockway on October 19, 2015.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Potts, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has hazel eyes and brown hair, is listed as a Tier 3 sex offender on the Pennsylvania Megan’s Law website.

According to the Megan’s Law website, Potts was convicted on September 22, 2003 for Rape, which took place January 26, 2002.

His last known address is listed as Just For Jesus Ministries, 14530 Route 28, Brockway.
