The following weather statement was issued for Jefferson County at 2:56 p.m. May 21, 2015.

INCLUDING THE COUNTIES OF MERCER…VENANGO…FOREST…CLARION…JEFFERSON

INCLUDING THE CITIES OF…GROVE CITY…FRANKLIN…TIONESTA…CLARION…BROOKVILLE

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A FREEZE WATCH…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES…IN THE LOW TO MID 30S.

* TIMING…COLDEST MINIMUM TEMPERATURES WILL OCCUR AROUND SUNRISE SATURDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS…UNPROTECTED OUTDOOR PLANTS WILL LIKELY BE DAMAGED OR KILLED.
