JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement warning of foggy conditions in Jefferson County and the surrounding areas.
Special Weather Statement Alert:
FOG EXPECTED FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE
Areas of fog that have developed across the region will linger until mid-morning. The fog may be particularly dense in patches, with visibilities dropping to less than a half-mile at times. Fog is expected to lift between 8 AM EDT and 10 AM EDT.
If you are planning to travel this morning, be prepared to allow extra time to reach your destination and allow more distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
