WEATHER ALERT: Thunderstorms, Heavy Rainfall May Produce Flooding Issues

A Hazardous Weather Outlook remains in effect for Jefferson County and surrounding areas.

The following information was released by the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh on May 12, 2016, at 4:20 a.m.:

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN MARYLAND…EAST CENTRAL OHIO…NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA…SOUTHWEST
PENNSYLVANIA…WEST CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA…WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA…NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA AND NORTHERN PANHANDLE OF WEST VIRGINIA.

DAY ONE: TODAY AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL THAT COULD CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING ISSUES. A FEW OF THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS MAY ALSO PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS AND HAIL.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN: FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
