The following advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday, February 15, 2016, at 6:32 a.m.:

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST TUESDAY…

* ICE ACCUMULATION…A TRACE TO A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION…1 TO 3 INCHES.

* SNOW/ICE BEGINNING…FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS
MORNING. LIGHT SNOW WILL THEN SPREAD OVER THE REGION STARTING
EARLY AFTERNOON…CHANGING OVER TO SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW/ICE…MID-AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY
EVENING.

* SNOW/ICE ENDING…PRECIPITATION WILL DIMINISH AND CHANGE TO
RAIN OR LIGHT SNOW BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS…HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO
SNOW…SLEET AND ICE.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW…SLEET…OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
