JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – A Wind Advisory has been issued for Jefferson County and surrounding areas.

…WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON…

* WIND…Southwest 15 to 25 mph with max gusts between 40 and 50 mph.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Wind Advisory means that wind speeds greater than 30 mph, or gusts in excess of 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.
