JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Jefferson County and surrounding areas.

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh issued the following Urgent Winter Weather Message at 5:22 a.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2019:

* WHAT…Freezing rain. Storm total ice accumulation of a trace to two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE…Portions of northwest, southwest and western Pennsylvania.

* WHEN…Until noon EST today.

* IMPACTS…Difficult travel conditions are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages.
