Wendell G. Bashline

Wendell G. Bashline, 67, of Emlenton, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at his home.

Born July 17, 1950, in Brookville, Wendell was the son of Duane and Eria Magrini Bashline.

On December 1, 1969, Wendell married Martha Price who survives.

Wendell was a graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School. He worked for C & K Coal Company as an oiler for 27 years.

Wendell enjoyed watching wrestling, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheeler, reading the bible, coin collecting, talking on his CB, and being a member of the BSOP, which is a CB radio club.

Along with his wife Wendell is survived by his three sons Bradley (Becky) Bashline of Reynoldsville, Travis (Megan) Bashline of Parker and Trenton (Jill) Bashline of Erie and his grandchildren Julia, Aaron, Sarah, Ben, Anna, Bria and Kali Bashline.

Wendell was preceded in death by his parents Duane and Eria Bashline, an infant son, a sister Debra Robertson and a niece Cherith Robertson.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17 at the Mt. Joy United Methodist Church, 159 Mt. Joy Road, Knox. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Church with Pastor Doug Brink officiating.

The McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home Inc. in Knox is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial be made to World Missionary Evangelism Inc., PO Box 660800, Dallas TX, 75266.
