September 1 – Fire Tower/Seneca Point Historical Tour at Cook Forest State Park – 11:30am – Bring your binoculars and meet at the Fire Tower parking lot for a 45 minute historical interpretive tour.  Learn about logging history, observe Indian signs, and enjoy a breathtaking view from the box at the very top of the Fire Tower, which will be open until 2:30pm.  For more information call (814) 744-8407.

September 1 – Scavenger Hunt at Sizerville State Park – 11am – Get ready to explore Sizerville through a scavenger hunt! Stop by the environmental building to get your list, then using a camera, phone or other mobile device snap pictures of the listed objects!
