The First Quarter Report for 2019 released in August by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry’s Center for Workforce Information and Analysis shows the top 50 employers in business and industry in each of Pennsylvania’s counties.
What follows is the top employers, in terms of the number of employees, in the counties of Clarion, Forest, Jefferson, and Venango. The list does not rate the dollar amount of salaries for workers.
Types of businesses vary in the counties, but elementary and secondary schools, government entities like the state of Pennsylvania and counties, colleges and universities, health care, and individual and family services lead the list.
