William J. Buterbaugh

William J. Buterbaugh, age 81, Main Street, Troutville, PA, formerly of Brockway, PA died Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home.

Born August 14, 1934 in Brockway, PA, he was the son of the late William G. & Florence P. (Everett) Buterbaugh.

William served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He made his home with his companion, Diane Galentine for over 40 years.

He was a school van driver for Jewell Bus Company. Previous to that, he was a roofing contractor. He had also worked at the General Pershing Hotel.

He enjoyed working on cars and playing the lottery.

William is survived by a daughter, Tammy Bailey of DuBois, PA, his brother, Raymond Everett of Indiana, PA, and his best friend, his dog, “Little Man”.

He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Buterbaugh and his sister, Florence Quigley.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 1 P.M. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Sherwood officiating.

Burial will be in Beechtree Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
