Wilma F. Jones, 86, Punxsutawney, died Friday, January 9, 2015, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born June 21, 1928, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Olive (Lott) and Henry Wolfe.
On December 24, 1949, she married the late Joseph H. Jones.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, being outside on her deck, baking cookies, and crossword puzzles.
Surviving relatives include two children, Suzanne Riffle and husband David of Punxsutawney, and Joseph H. Jones II, and wife Tina of Punxsutawney; five grandchildren, Kelly, Christopher “Fur”, Jeremiah, Brandy and Toya; one great grandson Zakkery; and two sisters, Anna Lou Blose of Punxsutawney and Betty Jean Waugh of OH.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers John and James Wolfe.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at the funeral home with James Waugh officiating.
Interment will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Mrs. Jones, to the donors’ choice.
