State Police Seek Info on Winslow Twp. Hit-and-Run Crash

WINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating a hit-and-run crash that took place on November 1 in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Police say around 5 p.m., a pickup truck was traveling west on SR 322 and left the west berm for unknown reasons.

The truck struck a mailbox with its passenger side mirror and then traveled through private property and struck a road sign.

The vehicle continued traveling through private property before fleeing the scene.

Police believe the make of the truck is Nissan. It is missing its right-side mirror, inner fender and a mud flap, as a result of the crash.

The truck had a chainsaw in its bed and lost it during the crash. The chain saw is at PSP-Punxsutawney.
