The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh issued the following URGENT WINTER WEATHER MESSSAGE at 11:18 a.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2015:

…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST MONDAY…

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS…A TRACE TO A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…6 to 10 INCHES.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW…SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY NIGHT.
PRECIPITATION WILL MIX WITH SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN TONIGHT…AND
PERHAPS TO ALL RAIN FOR A TIME…BEFORE CHANGING BACK TO ALL
SNOW MONDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ENDING…MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS…HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO
ACCUMULATION OF SNOW AND ICE AND REDUCED VISIBILITY.
