  • Unlawful Contact With Minor – Obscene and Other Sexual Materials and Performances, Felony 3
  • Corruption Of Minors – Defendant Age 18 or Above, Felony 3
  • Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, on September 10, Sargeant Murray, of the Reynoldsville Borough Police Department, received a phone call from the mother of a 14-year-old boy. The minor’s mother reported that Tiffany Ross sent her son a video of herself masturbating on September 9.

The victim’s mother also reported that Ross sent her son inappropriate photos of herself in April. The woman confronted Ross about it, called her a pedophile, and told her not to do it again. Then, on the morning of September 9, the victim’s mother saw that a message from Ross arrived on her son’s phone that was laying on a table. She opened the phone and saw a photo of Ross. She then scrolled through the conversation and discovered a video of Ross masturbating that Ross had sent to her son via Snapchat.

The victim’s mother saved the video and turned it over to Sargeant Murray.

According to the complaint, the victim said he received the video of Ross masturbating on Snapchat. He also said that Ross knew that he was 14-years-old.

According to the complaint, Sargeant Murray spoke with Ross on September 19. When Ross was confronted with a still picture from the video, she claimed that she sent it to a boy who was over 18. When asked the name of the boy, she named the victim. Ross then went on to say the victim told her he was 20.

The complaint notes that Sargeant Murray then confronted Ross with the information and messages proving her interaction with the victim’s mother in April.

According to the complaint, Ross then signed a written statement indicating that she sent the video and she knew the victim was under 18. She also stated that she regretted sending the video.

Based on the investigation, Ross was arraigned on Tuesday, October 9, in Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office.

Her bail was set at $20,000.00 monetary.

Ross is currently lodged in the Clearfield County Jail stemming from a May 12, 2018 case that involved possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, and corruption of minors.
