Woman Accused of Throwing Beer Can at Man’s Face Due in Court Tomorrow

FALLS CREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday for a 30-year-old woman who allegedly threw a beer can at a man’s face while he was sleeping.

Court documents indicate Amanda Nickole Williams, of Falls Creek, is scheduled to stand for a preliminary hearing in front of Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10.

She faces the following charges:

– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

She is currently free on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred in Falls Creek Borough in July.

Details of the case:

According to a criminal complaint, around 7:29 p.m. on July 19, Trooper Thompson, of the DuBois-based State Police, was dispatched to a residence on Main Street in Falls Creek Borough for a report of a domestic assault.

According to the complaint, a known victim told police he was sleeping and woke up when Amanda Nickole Williams threw a beer can, striking him in the face and causing a laceration to the bridge of his nose.

Williams was arraigned at 8:56 a.m. on July 20 in front of Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana.
